I spent much of my life around rescue animals just north of Willis, Texas until I began college. At that point, I felt the need to help more than just the dogs and cats around me and so I started my path of professional animal care that lead me to a wolf sanctuary as the Sanctuary Curator. I soon moved to an equine rescue where I cared for the medical needs of nearly 400 equines as the Medical Barn Supervisor.

Through my time working with these amazing creatures, be them dogs and cats or wolves and donkeys, I have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for our four legged companions!

I am experienced in general animal care, operant conditioning(through positive reinforcement training aided by the use of a bridge), fearful or easily stressed animals, and difficult to work with canines such as formerly abused or recent rescues.

For as long as I can remember pets have always been a part of the family. Growing up I had a range of pets, from birds, to dogs, lizards, and fish. I have just always felt so connected to their little souls. Taking care of animals has always been a huge passion of mine; nurturing, loving, or even just playing and having fun! I am so excited to get to know and care for your loved pet and beyond grateful for the opportunity!

I've had animals my entire life; some of which have become the best of friends. I'm skilled when it comes to knowing what an animal wants and needs, even when they don't. My family has always been envious of my ability to read their pets minds! I'm very energetic, which is why I think dogs and I get along so well, but I'm also able to be calm and cool, when needed. Once your pet and I meet, they'll get a new best friend. I'm ecstatic to meet them!

From a very young age, I’ve had a passion for working with animals. Being raised on a farm, I was constantly around livestock, working dogs, barn cats, small critters, you name it. I spent most of my youth at rodeos or in the barn, as well as spending a lot of time pet sitting for friends and family. As I grew older and was looking for jobs, I started working at the horse boarding facility where I learned to ride, I worked as a ranch hand caring for 15 to 30 horses at a time and gave horseback riding lessons to beginning equestrians. I recently worked at an animal shelter where I cared for dogs and cats and enjoyed socializing with them and working to help them find the perfect homes. Throughout my life, I have cared for a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to horses, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, birds, and fish. I have always had the biggest heart and understanding for these animals, and people tell me that they can sense that. I love every animal I meet, and I am beyond excited to extend my care to your beloved pets as well!
